The Karratha Entertainment Centre has a variety of options to suit all your health and fitness needs. Service is our priority - our customer service team can answer all your questions and provide you with any assistance you may need. Let our friendly team make health and fitness a part of your every day life.

The KEC was opened in 1980 by Premier Sir Charles Court. It was predicted by Premier Court back then that Karratha would one day become a city, bringing greater permanency to the area – that statement has almost reached fruition, with the new Karratha City of the North Plan now underway.
 

Important things to know:

  • Use the facilities as a casual participant or take advantage of our many membership options.
  • To join the gym, contact our customer service team at reception.
  • All new gym users must complete a registration form and brief health questionnaire so that our team is aware of any physical limitations you may have. Your personal comfort and safety is our priority.
  • Youth memberships are available for patrons between the ages of 15 and 18 years.
  • Accredited gym instructors and personal trainers are available for fitness appraisals, exercise programs and personal training.
  • Our facilities are fully air-conditioned.
  • As a matter of hygiene and courtesy to others, sweat towels are compulsory.
    NO TOWEL, NO WORKOUT.
  • Closed in sports shoes must be worn at all times.
  • At various times, a qualified gym instructor will be in the gym. Check the notice board in the gym for details of times.

Creche

The KEC operates a crèche service for the patrons and members participating in any of the centre activities. The crèche is available for children aged eight weeks to 10 years and is open:

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12pm
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 4pm to 7.30pm
Saturday 7.30am to 11.30am
