The Shire of Roebourne is committed to driving a positive change for our community.
The draft strategic plan is the first stage of the process so we may fulfil our mission; providing the strength of leadership to effectively deliver infrastructure, facilities and services that meet the needs and aspirations of our community and local economy.
The Shire of Roebourne occupies an area of vital national economic significance through the value of exports produced within its boundaries and the royalties and taxes that are returned to the Commonwealth and State Governments.
The Shire is very conscious of the crucial role it plays in the planning, delivery and sustainability of major resource projects.
In particular, it is committed to seeing a social dividend returned to the residents of the communities from which significant wealth, royalties and taxes are, and will continue to be generated.
We encourage all residents in the Shire to become a part of this drive for positive change to produce a liveable, vibrant community.
